TICKETS
Are tickets available at the gate?
Tickets are not available at the Front Gate as it is closed for the season. They must be pre-purchased online or are available for walk-ups at the Capitol Theatre Box Office.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are $15 per person. This is an all-ages event.
Do I need a printed copy of my ticket or can I show it on my smartphone?
Either is fine.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable.
I have a Leisure Access Pass, can I use it?
City of Edmonton Leisure Access Passes is accepted for free admission during our summer season. These are not applicable for private or ticketed events.
I have a Fort Edmonton Park Membership, can I use it?
Fort Edmonton Park Memberships are accepted for our General Admission season and admission to the Indigenous Peoples Experience during the Fall and Winter. These are not applicable for private or ticketed events.
What happens if I'm running late?
Theater doors will close at the start of the movie. Tickets will not be refunded for any latecomers.
What should I do if I have yet to receive a booking confirmation email?

What types of payments do you take?
We are happy to accept Visa, Mastercard, and Interac.
THE EXPERIENCE
What can I expect while watching a film at the Capitol Theatre?
Capitol Theatre is first come seating. There will be a concession with snacks and beverages available for purchase. Washrooms are also available on-site.
Can I bring food and drinks with me?
No outside food or drink will be permitted. There will be a concession available on-site to purchase from.

Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available behind the Capitol Theatre
How do you get there?
Take Fox Drive to Fort Edmonton Park Road and follow the road into the Park. Take the first right upon arriving at the Park, following signs to the Capitol Theatre. You will check in at the Guardhouse and continue down the service road to park behind the Capitol Theatre. Note that the Front Gate will not be open.
Can I get there by public transit?
We don't recommend using the Edmonton Transit System as you are not able to walk on the service road to get to the meeting point.
Is smoking allowed?
Fort Edmonton Park is smoke-free.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available across the site.
