The most important thing about Fort Edmonton Park is that it remains a place where everyone can enjoy their visit and the unique opportunity to safely enjoy the living history presented throughout the year.
Strollers and Wagons
As a safety policy we are no longer able to accommodate strollers, walkers, wheelchairs or wagons on our street cars.
Our train is able to accommodate some strollers, however some large recreational or tandem strollers simply do not fit on board. Strollers cannot exceed a maximum 24 inches wide by 48 inches long when open and unfolded. Additionally, wagons cannot be accommodated on the train.
For your convience we do offer a stroller holding area at the Train Station. Your stroller can be left for a round trip on either ride. Please be aware that Fort Edmonton Park is not liable for lost or stolen strollers or items.
Fort Edmonton Park does not rent strollers.
Bicycles and Balloons
There are no bicycles of any size allowed inside Fort Edmonton Park. Similarly, no balloons are permitted within the Park or any of the Park’s buildings.
Smoking is not permitted in the buildings or washrooms within the Park. Smoking is permitted in the outdoor areas; please consider others while smoking outdoors.
Skateboards and Rollerblades
For safety reasons, the Park does not permit roller blades, roller shoes (with rollers extended) or skateboards.
To ensure the health and safety of the animals that live at Fort Edmonton Park, pets are not permitted inside the park. For your convenience, the area surrounding the Park is an on-leash park for pets.
Please clean up after your pet.
