I loved my first visit to Fort Edmonton! It was so much more then I expected.The old buildings and all the history is AWESOME! I talked to all the interpreters and they were so nice and so very knowledgeable. I can not pick a favorite house or building because I just loved them all! If I lived in Edmonton I would have a year pass for sure. You cannot see it all in one visit! WTG Fort Edmonton Park!!

Fort Edmonton is educational and fun. Christmas sleigh rides and a Hallowe'en experience that is well worth it - sells out though, so make sure you buy your tickets early. We usually attend at least once/year.

Overall Fort Edmonton was an amazing day out and excellent value, we would recommend it to anyone keen to understand the early development of Canada from a wilderness populated by native tribes and sparse fur trading posts to the establishment of settled provinces in the lead up to federation.

We lucked out and arrived on a day where the theme was "put your kids to work" where the characters give your children small tasks in tune with the roles they portrayed (polishing old fire trucks, delivering packages, dusting rugs, etc. for which they received park money which they could exchange for small bits of food popular in that era. Fort Edmonton is where you want to bring your kids for genuine, wholesome and educational fun. Staff that works there was great.

This park is very good value. It has a lot to see and do for adults and children: forts to explore, houses to visit, mini-golf to play, all included in the price.
