Day Camp Program Information

Day Camps at Fort Edmonton Park are back! Your camper explores Fort Edmonton Park through fun, unique and immersive experiences.

Make memories with new friends that last a lifetime through all 4 of our eras, including our award-winning new exhibit the Indigenous Peoples Experience. * We offer Pre-Camp and Post-Camp Care for a set fee. Pre-Camp Care is from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and Post-Camp Care is from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Farm Friends (Mornings are for 4-year-olds going into first-year kindergarten. Afternoons are for 5-year-olds after 1 year of kindergarten.)

What was life like on the farm? Come and explore with us! Campers will visit the animals, play traditional games, go for a horse-drawn wagon ride, and eat some treats just like kids from the past.

Summertime Christmas (Ages 5-8)

Keep the spirit of Christmas throughout the year by celebrating with Fort Edmonton Park this summer. Campers will experience the seasonal traditions and explore how early Edmontonians celebrated with customs from around the world.

Pursuit of Play (Ages 6-9)

Get your kids unplugged and engaged in the world around them. Games, sports, crafts... kids in the past made their own fun.

Mrs. Egge’s Kitchen Kids - Junior (Ages 6-9) and Senior (Ages 10-12.

No one bakes like grandma, except maybe great-grandma and of course, Mrs. Egge! Aspiring bakers will learn the secrets of home cooking on a wood-burning stove.

History Whodunit! (Ages 7-10)

An evil time-bandit is messing with history and needs to be set straight. Campers - History Heroes - will need to conduct interviews with characters from Edmonton’s past and discover clues to right this dreadful wrong.

Adventure at the Fort (Ages 10-12).

It’s the Voyageurs’ life for me! Get a taste of this challenging and adventurous way of life. Campers will explore our 1846 Fort through the eyes of figures in the fur trade.

Booking Information

  • Bookings are closed one week in advance of the day of occurrence. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment for the day and program you desire. 
  • Book your Pre-Camp and Post-Camp Care Add-On online with your Day Camp registration. 
  • Payment is due upon booking of the program.  
  • There are 20 available spots per program, per week.
