Fort Edmonton Park offers private event organizers and their guests a unique and exclusive experience.
“As a venue, Fort Edmonton Park is eons away from beige box boardrooms and ballrooms. It captures the imagination and resonates long after the experience is over. Your next event could be elevated from just another meeting to an exciting chapter of your corporate history.”
The choice of Fort Edmonton Park as the setting reflects creativity and resourcefulness; the experience is enriched, but the cost is not. There is an undefinable element of “specialness” at the Park, enhanced by the exclusivity of access, giving all participants a sense of being VIPs.
Nestled on 158 acres of river valley property, Fort Edmonton Park is just a short drive to Downtown, Old Strathcona, and West Edmonton Mall and yet gives the distinct impression of being “far away from it all”. The ambience created by our historical streetscapes and artifacts transports visitors from the hub-bub of their daily routines and sets the mood for relaxation, reflection, and creativity.
The Park’s ten rental locations are available for meetings, retreats, conferences, workshops or seminars from September through April. From May to August, daytime bookings are limited and admission may apply during this time. In addition, we offer:
- Wagon/sleigh rides
- Complimentary parking
- Catering that offer a variety of service styles, including reception, barbecue, buffet and plate service
- Park wide rentals
- Summer social packages
Imagine renting a portion or the entire Park just for your conference. We offer an ideal setting to host a larger summer evening event or conference for groups from 500 to 3,000. Fort Edmonton Park is the perfect place to make a historic mark on any convention program. Consider creating your own historic theme and sending your delegates back in time.
Corporate Staff Celebrations
Think outside the box and wow your staff with an event they will talk about for years to come.
Start your celebration with a stroll through the park and enjoy Edmonton the way it was in 1846, 1885, 1905, and 1920. Watch an interpretive demonstrations, have a barbeque at one of our unique historical rental facilities and so much more.
