Is Fort Edmonton Park participating in the Government of Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program?
Yes, under the program, guests must:
- Have proof of vaccination - For the transitional period between September 20 and October 25, a single dose is considered acceptable if given more than two weeks prior to the visit date or
- Have proof of a negative COVID-19 Health Canada approved rapid antigen, rapid PCR or lab-based PCR test completed within the previous 72 hours or
- Have documentation of a medical exemption.
Do I have to wear a face mask?
Yes, facemasks are required indoors and on the streetcar.
Will hand sanitizer be available?
Sanitization stations will be available, however, we encourage you to have your own on hand and wash or sanitize your hands frequently.
I’m not feeling well. Can I get a refund?
Please stay home if you’re not feeling well. Tickets are non-refundable, however, you may switch your ticket to a different date.
Are tickets available at the gate?
Tickets are only available online at fortedmontonpark.ca
How much are tickets?
Daily admissions tickets are as follows:
Adult (18+) $20.00
Child/Youth (3-17) $12.00
Family (2 adults & up to 3 kids) $50.00
I heard I get free admission to the 2022 summer season with my purchase. Is that correct?
Yes, that’s correct. You will receive a free admission of equal or lesser value. Instructions to claim your free admission will be sent out in late spring.
Do I need a printed copy or can I show it on my smartphone?
Either is fine.
I had a summer pass, can that be used for admission?
The summer pass was valid only until September 6, 2021, which was the end of our summer season.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable.
How many people does a family admission cover?
A family admission includes two adults and up to 3 children living in the same household.
What should I do if I have not received a booking confirmation email?

I want to bring a large group, are there discounts?
There are no group discounts available. Our sales team would be happy to assist with your group booking. They can be reached at email@example.com
What types of payments do you take?
We are happy to accept Visa, Mastercard, Interac and cash.
Are the train and streetcars running?
The streetcar is running to transport guests to and from the other end of the park. The train is not running.
Are there wagon rides?
Yes, wagon rides will be running. Tickets are $5 per person 3 and over (under 3 is free). Tickets are available online only.
Will any buildings be open?
The only buildings open will be the Indigenous Peoples Experience and the 1846 Fort Complex. Everything else, including the midway,1920 Street, 1905 Street and 1885 Street are closed for the season.
Where can I eat?
Food services are available at the front entry cafe from 11 am - 3 pm.
Where can I shop?
No retail locations will be available.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available in the main parking lot.
How do you get there?
Take Fox Drive to Fort Edmonton Park Road and follow the road into the Park. There are many city streets in the vicinity that have signs that direct to Fort Edmonton Park.
Can I get there by public transit?
Yes, you can use the Edmonton Transit System service on demand from the South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park LRT station or from another location in the city.
Is smoking allowed?
Fort Edmonton Park is smoke-free during general admission hours.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available across the site.
