Beginning in Fall 2018, onsite School Programs at Fort Edmonton Park will be taking a 1 to 2 year hiatus as we ready the site for much-needed and anticipated features for the Fort Edmonton Park Enhancement Project. These include an upgrade of the existing underground utilities, a new front entry plaza and admissions facility, an expansion of the Selkirk Hotel and the 1920s Midway, plus the addition of the new Indigenous Peoples Experience. We look forward to welcoming students from across the city and province in the coming years to showcase our renowned programming at Fort Edmonton Park.
During this time, we are excited to be offering outreach and offsite School Programs to meet our students and teachers in their classrooms. We bring everything to the classroom including artifacts, hands-on activities, and lessons, all led by our Education Interpreter team.
The Park looks forward to seeing students and educators in the classroom soon!
