Railway Caboose
The caboose is wheelchair accessible. The train conductor
can assist with boarding. Free for wheelchair patrons.
Streetcar
Your admission includes rides on the streetcars, which
ride the rails to 1905 and 1920 streets. The Edmonton Radial Railway
Society restores and maintains all of the Park's streetcars.
Free of charge.
Buggy Rides
Before the car, a buggy was the smartest way to go. Buggy rides
are available on 1905 Street on Sundays and holidays.
Wagon Rides
The rides start at McDougall's general store on 1885 Street.
This quiet, scenic loop past the pond and the Fort takes about 10
minutes.
Stagecoach
Until 1891, the stagecoach was the only commercial mans of
transportation between Calgary and Edmonton. In 1885, the
trip could last five days, but our own stagecoach takes about 10
minutes to travel through history on 1885 Street.
Pony Rides
Check in at the Ottewell homestead farm yard. Ponies are for
children who want to experience a little of the pioneer west.
