Rides with Building Rental

There are many ways to travel through time at Fort Edmonton Park. Depending on the theme of your event, the Park can assist in complementing your special occasion with the finest in period transportation. Add a method of transportation to your rental event by confirming with your rental agent four weeks prior to your function.

Steam Train

The Steam Train consists of a steam engine and three original coaches, including a wheelchair accessible caboose. Two of the coaches provide seating, while one is standing room only.

Capacity: 75 people per coach.
Rates: $549/hr -2 hrs minimum pending seasonal availability (Each additional hour is $280.00)
Available: Mid May through September,

Streetcar

The Park has three authentic streetcars in service from May through September.

Capacity: 40 people per car (up to 3 cars may be rented, subject to availability).
Rate: $188/hr. per car.

Horse Drawn Rides

Add a horse-drawn ride to your rental event, 20 or 30 minute intervals for your group.
Vis-a-vis: Horse-drawn elegant carriage and
Cutter: Horse-drawn sleigh.
