The Railway Salon Car by the Fort Edmonton Park train station is
an original train car that was built in 1912 and used for over 70
years. Probably the most remarkable rental venue at Fort
Edmonton Park, our salon car is furnished with elegant wing back
chairs, mahogany paneling, authentic carpet, special light
fixtures, and furniture like that of the 1920s era.
Used primarily for small meetings and social events, the
spaciousness of the salon car puts to shame the cramped quarters of
modern air and bus travel. It is designed to hold 16 people
in a restaurant style or 12 people in a boardroom seating
style.
