Have you ever wanted to be a Royal Canadian Mounted Police? How
about a wild west gunslinger, or a fast talking poker player from
1905? Well, you can, at the Ernest Brown Historic Photography
Studio on 1905 street at Fort Edmonton Park.
Learn more about the photography studio and get your portraits with
your next visit to the Park.
We often have a pair or more of geese who nest somewhere in the
Fort and have their goslings in the early Spring.
One pair always liked to nest on top of the Ice House in the
Fort, which has a sod roof (to keep the interior cool). They found
it nice and safe and cushy.
An interesting note: that there is speculation that Edmonton was
an attractive gathering place for indigenous tribes for time
immemorial because of the large amounts of geese that would migrate
through this corridor.
